This Teenager Won $400,000 for His Video Explaining Einstein’s Theory of Relativity

Ryan Chester won US$400,000 back in 2015 for this video explaining Einstein’s Special Theory of Relativity, as part of the inaugural Breakthrough Junior Challenge – an international competition that aims to inspire the next generation of scientists and science communicators.

The competition received more than 2,000 entries from 86 countries. After being reduced to 15 finalists, Ryan managed to compete for prize and fame. Ryan wrote the script, filmed, edited and created all of the visuals and motion graphics for this video.
